Guifang Liu Hug
Liu was born in China in 1974. She studied art education at college and was a teacher of visual arts in Hubei Province. Later, she studied Chinese Linguistics & Literature at Hubei University. From 1998, Liu worked in Guangdong Province as a teacher of fine arts and a graphic designer.
Since 2009, Guifang Liu Hug has been living in Switzerland with her husband. She has set up her own painting studio at home. Liu paints in three painting techniques in particular: Watercolor, Sketching and Oil.
Her motto is: «Nature is art – art is our life».
Liu loves and cares for her stylishly arranged garden. She is inspired by the many different plants, their blooms and the visitors for her painting.
